JEM Accessories, Inc., its affiliates, and subsidiaries (“we”, “us”, “our”, “JEM”) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes our practices in connection with information privacy on personal data we process through your individual use of the following services, products, and related mobile applications (collectively, the “Products”) produced as Xtreme Connected.
This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your “PII” in accordance with our website and app.
What type of Non-Personally Identifiable Information do we collect?
• Device Information: When you interact with our products, we automatically collect device information, such as the MAC address of your devices, IP address, wireless connection information, operating system type and version, application version number, push notification identifier, log files, and mobile network information.
• Usage Data: During your interaction with our sites and services, we automatically collect usage data relating to visits, clicks, downloads, messages sent/received, and other usage of our Sites and Services.
• Log Information: When you use our app, the application and exception log may be uploaded.
• Location Information: We may collect information about your real-time precise or non-precise geo-location when you use our specific products or services.
• Image Information: You may upload images of places which do not personally identify you. You may also upload images from your device as part of an app’s support capabilities, such as the “Report Issue” functionality. You may upload images that will be used as icons in the app.
• Smart Device Information: when you connect and interact with your smart devices, we automatically collect information concerning your smart device and the network connected to such a device, such as device type, model, name, group name or nickname, location name, and other settings assigned to the device, device country code, device network operator, OS version, IP address and IMEI, the MAC address of your devices, event and event settings, sensor and configuration data, error and malfunction logs, device identifier (e.g. ICCID) and the device and automation name, wireless connection information, operating system type and version, application version number, push notification identifier, log files (including error logs).
What PII do we collect from the people that visit our website or app?
• When ordering from or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience.
• When utilizing video and audio features of our products, video recordings, audio recordings, live video or audio streams, images, environmental data, and other data may be collected by our products to perform their standard operating functions.
• When adding/updating profile pictures or you uploading other images, which may include image information such as the time and the place your photo was taken, tags and similar information stored by your image capture device.
• When using the “activity zones” function the app will save an image of the area that you want the motion detection to capture.
When do we collect information?
• We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, download and use the application, use live chat, open a support ticket or enter information on our site.
• The application enables you to you save and share content with compatible video and audio products. You may save and/or share certain content like video clips, live video streams, and images for later access or for other people. We will collect and store information that will allow us to save or share your content at your instruction through our Services.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf our website, or use certain other features in website, app or other Products in the following ways:
• To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
• To improve our website or app in order to better serve you.
• To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
• To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
• To quickly process your transactions.
• To ask for ratings and reviews of services or products.
• To follow up with you after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries).
• To customize and improve your in-app experience.
• To provide you with the expected features of the product.
• To create user profiles that includes the use of image information. Image information may include location data.
• To use image information as icons within the app

• To enable you to control, manage and operate the Products
• To better understand how users use the Products
• To provide technical support and remote maintenance
• To link account information with the Products
• To use in a dispute or legal proceeding of any kind between you and us concerning the Product
• To identify and prevent unauthorized or prohibited uses, viruses, frauds, or violations of our terms of use, this privacy policy or applicable law
• To share with our group of companies (affiliates) to provide services to you
• To satisfy any subpoena
• To aggregate non-personal information (or anonymized information) for statistical, analytical and research purposes
How do we protect your information?
• We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
• An external PCI compliant payment gateway handles all credit card transactions.
• We use regular Malware Scanning.
• Your PII is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
• We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your PII.
• All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
However, the internet is not a fully secure environment and we cannot ensure the security of any information transmitted to or generated by us in connection with our website. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach or by any of our operational safeguards. You play an important role in protecting your information by maintaining up to date computer security protections as well as ensuring the security of your computer passwords or other personal identifier authentication mechanisms. You agree that you are responsible for any additional verification procedures that you deem necessary. In the event that we are required by law to inform you of any unauthorized access to your PII we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law.
By using our website, you agree that the procedures provided for in this Privacy Policy and the procedures to protect PII and to verify the identity of this website’s users constitute commercial reasonable website security and customer verification procedures.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your PII unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Google advertising
Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users. We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website.
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt-out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network privacy policy.

California Privacy Rights
We may elect to share information about you with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents who have supplied PII (as defined in the law) to us, under certain circumstances, to request and obtain certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of PII to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If this law applies to you, you may obtain the categories of PII shared by us and the names and addresses of all third parties that received PII for their direct marketing purposes from us during the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in 2018 will receive information about 2017 sharing activities). California’s Shine the Light law gives California residents the right to ask companies what personal data they share with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties for the purpose of directly marketing their goods or services to you unless you request it. Your EU Privacy Rights
Pursuant to EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), below is additional specific information which relates to the processing of personal information of Data Subjects who are in the EU. Xtreme has put in place a data protection governance structure to ensure the data privacy rights and freedoms of Data Subjects are protected.
• Transfers to Other Countries. Some of the personal information we collect may be transferred to Recipients who are established in other countries, such as the United States. Transfers of EU personal data are based on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or your consent.
• Retention. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably deemed required for legal or business purposes. • Data Subject Rights. For Data Subjects in the EU, pursuant to and to the extent allowed by applicable law, you have the following rights:
o The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data.
o The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
o The right to have your personal data rectified if any of your personal data held by us is inaccurate or incomplete.
o The right to be forgotten (erasure), i.e., the right to ask us to delete or otherwise dispose of any of your personal data that we hold.
o The right to restrict (i.e., prevent) the processing of your personal data.
o The right to data portability. This means that, if you have provided personal data to us directly, we are using it with your consent or for the performance of a contract, and that data is processed using automated means, you can ask us for a copy of that personal data to re-use with another service or business in many cases.
o Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. We do not use your personal data in this way.

Where we transfer your personal information to countries and territories outside of the European Economic Area which have been formally recognized as providing an adequate level of protection for personal information, we rely on the relevant “adequacy decisions” from the European Commission and “adequacy regulations” from the Secretary of State in the United Kingdom (as applicable). Where the transfer is not subject to an adequacy decision or regulations, we will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. The safeguards we use are the European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and other appropriate legal mechanisms.
How does our site handle Do Not Track signals?
We honor Do Not Track signals and Do Not Track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.
Does our site allow third-party behavioral tracking?
It’s also important to note that we do not allow third-party behavioral tracking.
Information for Parents/Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
The application and any related website is a general audience application and website and we do not knowingly collect any PII from children younger than the age of thirteen (13) as required by United States law, other than (1) our products or services that require a user to enter birth date, age, or any other information that can identify the user’s age, and (2) specific smart devices and their features and scenarios designed and developed for children that are controlled by our software (including mobile applications and applets/mini-programs). We only collect as much information about a child as is reasonably necessary for the child to participate in an activity, and we do not condition his or her participation on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary. Special Instructions for a Guardian: We protect the personal information and privacy of children in accordance with this COPPA section. You are expected to help us protect the personal information and privacy of children under your custody, to require them to read and accept this COPPA section together with you, and to ensure that they use our products and services with your consent and guidance. Please note that if you choose to agree to this COPPA section, or your children begin, or continue, to use our products or services, or submit their personal information, you acknowledge that you agree to our collection, use, storage, sharing, transfer, and disclosure of your children’s personal information in accordance with this COPPA section.
Special Instructions for Children: We recommend that any child use our products or services with the prior consent of his/her guardian. If you are a child, please be sure to carefully read this COPPA section with your guardian, and use our products or services or provide information to us with your guardian’s consent.
If you do not agree to any of the terms of this Privacy Policy, or to provide relevant necessary information in the use of a specific feature or scenario of our products and services, please understand that you and your child may not be able to normally use our products or services or the specific feature or scenario.
The products and services that we provide may include products or services provided by third parties, and you may log in and use such third-party products and services through our software or products (e.g., an application). Such third parties may collect, use, or process information related to children. We recommend that you ask your children to seek your consent before authorizing a third party to collect or process any of their personal information.
If you have any questions about any term of this COPPA section, or you and your children have any requests related to personal information during the use of our products or services, please contact us in accordance with the “Contacting Us” section below.
I. What Information Do We Collect?
When you and your children use a specific smart device controlled by our software, we may collect and use your children’s personal information necessary for certain features or scenarios, including information on years/months of age, movement, and geographic location. Specific types and scope of information involved will depend on the features and intelligent scenarios of the smart device(s) used. When a child uses our products or services, we may collect other relevant information from the child. Please refer to the ” What PII do we collect from the people that visit our website or app?” and “What type of Non-Personally Identifiable Information do we collect?” section of the Xtreme Privacy Policy to learn more about other personal information we may collect. If we need to collect personal information about you or your children beyond the above-mentioned scope of collection, we will notify you again and obtain your consent. Please understand that you may choose whether to fill in or provide us with certain information of your children, but if you do not fill in or provide certain information, it may cause our products or services to fail to function properly or to achieve the desired service effect, and you and your children may not be able to normally use our products or services or related specific business functions.
II. How Do We Use the Information?
We will, in strict accordance with laws and regulations and the agreements concluded with users, use the information collected from you and your children for the following purposes:
a) To provide necessary products or services or the specific functions thereof; and
b) To optimize products or services, provide security assurance, or conduct service survey.
If we need to use personal information about you or your children beyond the above-mentioned purposes, we will notify you again and obtain your consent.
III. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Children’s Personal Information
We strictly restrict the sharing, transfer, and disclosure of the personal information of children in accordance with laws and regulations. In general, we do not share children’s personal information with any third party. We may share with third parties the personal information of a child only after obtaining the prior consent of their guardian.
a) Sharing with Guardians. We will share certain children’s personal information (such as the children’s usernames, account numbers, and passwords, and transaction information for some of our products and services) with their guardians so that the guardians may access and manage relevant personal information.
b) Sharing with Third Parties. For the purpose of external processing only, we may share a child’s personal information with third-party partners, including service providers, contractors, agents, and application developers (e.g., communications service providers that send emails or push notifications on our behalf, and map service providers that provide us with location services) (they may not be located in your jurisdiction) and have them process such information for us in accordance with our statements and privacy policies and relevant confidentiality and security policies. The children’s personal information is used by such third party mainly for the following purposes:
i. To provide our services to the children;
ii. To achieve the purposes as set forth in the “How Do We Use the Information” section hereof;
iii. To fulfill our obligations under the Xtreme Privacy Policy and this COPPA section and exercise our rights thereunder; and
iv. To understand, maintain, and improve our services.
If we share your and your child’s information with the above-mentioned third parties, we will conduct commercially reasonable measures (which may include encryption, anonymization, and/or de-identification) to protect the security of your and your children’s information. With the continuous development of our business, we may engage in a merger, acquisition, asset transfer, or other transaction that results in the sharing of your and your children’s personal information with a third party, in which case we will inform you by push notification, announcement, or other means, and continue to protect or require the new manager to continue to protect your and your children’s personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and the security standards no less stringent than those required in this COPPA section. We may anonymize the collected information of children for the purpose of data analysis, for example, generating a report for the services that you use.
c) Other Disclosures
In general, we prohibit the disclosure of children’s personal information, but we may disclose children’s personal information for the following purposes:
i. To comply with applicable laws and regulations, legal proceedings, or requests from public institutions and government authorities;
ii. To perform our terms of use and other agreements, policies, or standards, including investigating any potential violations;
iii. To protect the rights, privacy, security, or property of us and/or other users, including you; and
iv. To seek available detection, prevention, or remedial measures, limit potential damages payable by us, or resolve security, fraud, or technical issues.
IV. Storage of Children’s Personal Information
We will take technical measures to store children’s personal information to ensure information security. We will store children’s personal information only for a period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collect and use such information. If our products or services cease operating, or the storage period of your and your children’s personal information expires as required by this COPPA Section or the Xtreme Privacy Policy, we will notify you and your children by means such as push notification, announcement, and email, and delete or anonymize your and your children’s personal information within a reasonable period of time.
V. Management of Children’s Personal Information
To make it easier for you and your children to access, correct, or delete relevant personal information while using our products or services, we provide you with the corresponding operation settings in the product design, and you also may provide your feedback or inquiries through the contact information we provide. We will contact you in a timely manner upon verifying your feedback. Please understand that during the verification process, we may require you to provide the children’s personal information such as account number, birth date, and contact information, so that we can continue to respond to your needs after completing authentication and verifying the issues.
a) Accessing Children’s Personal Information. You and your children may view the personal information provided or generated by the child user in the use of our products or services, including but not limited to username, nickname, gender (if applicable), and voluntarily posted content.
b) Correcting Children’s Personal Information. When you and your children find errors in the children’s personal information that we collect, use, and process, you may correct such personal information by contacting us. We will take measures in a timely manner to correct the errors after completing the authentication and verification.
c) Deleting Children’s Personal Information. You and your children may request us to delete the children’s personal information that we collect, use, and process, and we will take measures in a timely manner to delete such personal information after completing the authentication and verification if:
i. we collect, store, use, transfer, or disclose the child’s personal information in violation of applicable laws and regulations or relevant agreement with you;
ii. we collect, store, use, transfer, or disclose the children’s personal information beyond the intended scope or necessary period;
iii. you withdraw your consent; or
iv. you or your children terminates the use of our products or services by cancelling the user account.
For your request, we will perform authentication and verification, and take measures in a timely manner to delete relevant personal information after completing the authentication and verification. However, please note that if you and your child require us to delete the specific personal information of the child, it may cause the child user to be unable to continue to use our products and services or certain specific business functions thereof. If you find that any personal information of your children has been collected without your prior consent, please contact us immediately, and we will endeavor to delete relevant information as soon as possible.
We collect your email address in order to:
• Send information, respond to inquiries and/or other requests or questions.
• Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders.
• Send you additional information related to your product and/or service.
• Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred.
You can stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in e-mails that you receive. Although we will remove your name from our mailing list after receiving your request within the timeframe permitted by law, you may still receive mailings from us that had been initiated prior to your name being removed. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you transactional communications, such as those about your account, to fulfill orders you have made, to ask you to rate the product you purchased, or other service-related communications.
